We have had a number of clients from the United Kingdom enquiring as to how much tax they will pay in Spain. We have a specialist tax advisor here at Just Law Solicitors and we can give you advice on this.
The golden rule is that at once you have your residency you need to stay in Spain for at least 183 days a year in order to keep your residency. As long as you do not stay in Spain for more than 183 days a year (January to December) you won’t have to pay tax here on Spain.
If you need a residencia, tax advice or help from an independent law firm in buying a property www.justlawsolicitors.com. Established 1992 native English speaking. Whole of Spain covered online and in person.
I would like some advice about this.
Hi Helen, We can help you. It’s a relatively complex matter. We can offer you a legal consultation on line or in person, if you’d like to send us an email at [email protected].
Best regards
