The city of Malaga and another 7 towns in Malaga province will have their borders closed from midnight Tuesday 19th January 2021.

That means the people living in these towns cannot leave the municipalities and nobody can go out without justification (eg to go to work, hospital appointments, medical treatments etc)
The full list of towns with its borders closed in Malaga province are: Teba, Almargen, Monda, Alameda, Salares, Ardales, Igualeja, El Borge, Benamocarra, Cartajima, Coín, Alfarnatejo, Alhaurín el Grande, Algatocín, Alcaucín, Alfarnate, Villanueva del Rosario, Moclinejo, Gaucín, Álora, Faraján, Sayalonga, Comares, Vélez-Málaga, Genalguacil, Ronda, Algarrobo, Mollina, Cañete la Real, Benarrabá, Manilva, Alhaurín de la Torre, Canillas de Albaida, Villanueva del Trabuco, Arenas, Tolox, Carratraca, Campillos, Benalmádena, Rincón de la Victoria, Málaga, Mijas, Fuengirola, Estepona, Cártama y Marbella.
